I have enjoyed reading a lot of the books in this Matt and Vic series, but this story especially. There was the usual closeness between the two lovers and the heat I expected. But the concerns both men had about meeting Matt’s parents for a family holiday was wonderfully done. I am sorry to see that this is the last book in the series.

Though she wants to use her ‘gifts’ for good, detective work burned Leah Wolfe out, leading her into retirement early. Between her former fiancĂ© and her adopted father, Leah can’t completely walk away, especially when paranormal women start turning up violently dead. Lean meets Ian Nightwalker, a vampire with more secrets and history than Leah could imagine. The hunt for the killer threatens everything Leah has come to hold dear and she’ll be lucky if she makes it out alive.

Nightwalker had some serious surprise and twisty-turny moments. I’d start to get pulled one way, thinking that was the direction the story would go, only for something different to happen. The secondary characters are very rich in this story and I hope to see more of them in future stories by Ms. Print. The only part that really got me was the end. No one-at all-was happy in the end. Not even a little. I understand it’s the first in a series, but after growing so attached to everyone, I would have at least liked a glimmer of someone being happy at the wrap. I guess I’ll just have to read the next one and hope for someone getting what they want.

Kandace Parker wants nothing more than to have a thriving ice cream parlor, but her run down equipment isn't cooperating. Watching her profits melt away each time her freezer breaks is only half her problem – the other half is her sexy repairman, Jason Chapman.

Jason is man enough to admit he's made some mistakes in his personal life; the biggest one was pushing Kandy away years ago. He knows the Ice Cream Queen won't willingly give him a second chance, so he devises a plan to keep him front and center in her life with the hopes of wearing her down.

How far will Jason go to get his second chance? How far will Kandy go to keep her freezer running? When desires collide in The Kandy Shoppe,  they'll have to decide if decadent sex is enough or if love can be the best dessert.

A freezer has never provided such hot and steamy encounters as it does in The Kandy Shoppe. Wow but this is one scorching take on trading goods for services. Kandace is one cool lady but her broken down ice cream freezer has her blood pressure rising and it was fascinating watching her trying to chill her libido when sexy Jason sets to patching up the old appliance. Jason is an amazing leading man; he is beyond sneaky and downright underhanded but he is also so darn genuine and charming that it is hard not to forgive him. As the summer temperatures are reaching record highs this sizzling story is a fantastic way to indulge in some blistering romance.

Candace "Candy" Bryce can't believe her luck when she wins a dinner date with Dave Roads, the lead singer of a hot new band. Not only is he a drop dead gorgeous rock star, but after she lets it slip that she's never been able to reach orgasm with a man, he seems bent on giving Candy what she needs. Who knew all it would take is a little "tie me up," a few toys and Dave's merciless desire for a Taste of Candy?

Taste of Candy is a yummy rock and roll fantasy. Candace is an everyday woman who is easy to relate to and it was entertaining watching her live out her extraordinary adventure. Dave is a larger than life sexy superstar, he is the ultimate archetype but better than that he is also a genuine man. He is self assured and confident and he brings out these characteristics in Candy. He pushes her boundaries sexually to both their satisfaction and he turns fantasies into reality for a woman who sees herself as everything ordinary. If you have ever fantasized about your favorite musician this is a good choice for you.

A heart can break, even one that no longer beats.

I stalk my new neighbors, a single mother and her child, drawn by the irresistible scent of their joy and love. I crave their blood, starved for some healing respite from my ancient grief. Now to lure them into my grasp.

But they surprise me. Little Olivia accepts me without fear or reservation—talking, smiling, offering innocent affection that tugs at my long-lost humanity. Her mother, Samantha, seeks me out when she should stay away, offering sweet friendship, and calling to the forgotten man within me. They lure me instead.

Ah, Dio, Lucien, run and spare them while you can…
Forever Freed is an impressive story of one vampire’s journey into self-forgiveness and happiness. Lucien is a tortured soul who touches not only the hearts of precocious Olivia and her mother Samantha, but the reader as well. There is seldom anything better than a well-written angst-ridden hero and Lucien is a fabulously tormented vampire. I thoroughly enjoyed going along on his journey and watching his relationship with the two human females develop. All of the characters in this story are so very engaging from the most unpleasant villain to the congenial charmers of Lucien’s family. I’d love to see many of them get their very own tales. This story contains, action, adventure and romance, it runs the gamut of emotions.

In this third book of the MacCoinnich Time Travel Trilogy we get to see Fin and Elizabeth’s relationship take shape as well as the final showdown between the evil Grainna and the family. Elizabeth is tested hard and Fin is there at her side always ready to help. Can the two find their way to each other and stop fighting before it is too late?

I have been a fan of this series since the first book. This maybe the last book in the trilogy but it was just as engrossing as the first one. Fin and Elizabeth are both strong people and each is a fighter in their own way. Elizabeth may not be a sword-carrying warrior but she will fight for those that she loves no matter what. Fin is just as loyal and fierce. Before long the two forge a beautiful bond that is stronger than either realizes and that no one can break. I enjoyed watching Elizabeth find not only herself but also love in this book. The banter between her and Fin makes for a great read.  He is a great man who finds himself in love and fights for Elizabeth’s heart as well as her life.

Not only do we get to see Fin and Elizabeth’s relationship bloom but we also get to see many other storylines in this book. Simon is still a major character in this story. I was glad to see that he still figures into the story and is not pushed aside. The family is still fighting the evil that is Grainna and the romance of Fin and Elizabeth is intertwined with this storyline. Neither is separate nor ignored.

Catherine Bybee does a wonderful job of pulling the reader into her world and immersing them into the magical world of time travel and druids. I truly enjoyed this book and hope that maybe sometime in the future the author will bring us back to this world of magic and love.

Bad weather lead Quinn and Brandon to Julie’ door. Like a page out of one of the romance novels she writes, the two sexy cowboys heat things up despite the power outage. With the help of the two men who don’t stay strangers long, Julie learns old secrets and learns enough about herself to contemplate making her own happily ever after.

Cowboys for Christmas hits all the notes for a wonderful winter story. Quinn and Brandon are different, yet compatible and interesting. Julie is the sort of self reliant yet thoughtful woman that I enjoy reading about because from the start, I wanted her to be happy. A steamy feel-good read for those looking for a holiday ménage story.

A WORKING GIRL JUST HAS TO BLOW HER LID...
Using her quick wit and take-charge attitude, Miranda Stiltgaard lands a marketing job for Stuart Golf Enterprises in Chicago determined to prove a well-educated girl raised in a small Alaskan town can succeed in a big city.

WHEN ACCUSED OF A CRIME SHE DIDN'T DO...
Embezzlement of company funds sends aloof London bachelor, Keegan Stuart, roaring into Chicago to ferret out a thief and protect the family business.

THEN RISKS HEARTBREAK TO BOOT...
Miranda hates that this unreadable Brit sees her as a backwoods frontierswoman dragging bear home for dinner. Or that she's capable of a crime. But if it's a fight he wants, she'll show him how it's done.

Never does Keegan expect a woman of fortitude to rock his resolve and steal his heart...a heart he doesn't intend to lose.
Miranda is an easy to relate to, endearing heroine and in Teed Up For Love it is so entertaining to see how she handles the unexpected trials she encounters. And the biggest ordeal she faces is her attraction to Keegan who practically embodies the heroes in her romance novels. He’s a charismatic bad boy who charms his way into the reader’s heart as well as the lead character’s. This is a witty story full of fun but it also addresses plenty of serious issues in a delightful way that brings out emotions but isn’t too heavy. The supporting cast of characters is as well developed as the lead couple and enhance the story. If you are looking for the perfect summer read full of personality and humor this is definitely the one to pick up and enjoy lounging in the sun.
