I was in awe of this beautifully written, touching story.

Stuart Willis is horrified by everything happening around him in Vietnam. The only light in all this darkness is a younger soldier. But this isn’t the ideal place for starting a relationship. He has no choice…he desperately wants this young man.

Richmond Patterson can’t resist his attraction to Stu, doesn’t want to resist. Nothing makes him happier in this awful place than knowing Stu loves him. All is almost perfect until….

This was an extremely short story, but filled with such depth of character and emotion. You don’t want to miss reading this very special romance.

Jimmy Taliafero is bored with his job and not interested in going to an out-of-town workshop to improve his people skills. What he is interested in is a new employee in another department, but he doesn’t know how to approach the man.

Scott Raines has had his eye on Jimmy since he started at the company. His attempts to make his interest known have been too subtle. But he gets a chance to make his intentions really known when he is to attend a workshop with the man he lusts after.

This was a fairly good story of a relationship that really struggles to develop.

If you are looking for a good ménage story with two hot heroes, this is the story for you.

Kelsi has reached a point in her life as daughter of the former pack leader that she must choose a mate. But she has two pack males she is drawn to…until an unexpected problem makes her leave them and her pack.

Keifer and Gage both love Kelsi and want her for a mate…for both of them. But she has disappeared and they search desperately for her. Can they find her? Can they convince her to try something she doesn’t understand?

For a short story, the characters and their conflicts were nicely developed. And the sex…definitely HOT.

Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn…and sometimes it works out.

Nadia is a vampire who struggles with following the rules. This time she went too far and was cast out from her coven, forced to find a way to survive on her own.

Daniel Rebiero is young, commitment-free, and still trying to find where he will fit into the world. His life takes an interesting turn when he meets Nadia and ends up becoming her “blood servant.” Can he make a future with this complicated woman?

The characters are well developed and there are many conflicts that should keep them apart. But the author leads the characters and the readers on a sensual journey while the future unfolds for the unique couple.

This is a really intriguing story into two men’s minds and feelings.  Nathan and Dane are total opposites yet the sparks fly from the very first meeting.  Dane has always considered himself as a Dom yet when Nathan tells him that he sees a submissive inside of him, Dane begins to have second thoughts about his place in things.  At first he only agrees to test his feelings to prove a point but as the two continue to experiment and become closer Dane finds himself with new and confusing feelings.

I really enjoyed seeing Dane find himself and finally be able to enjoy himself fully. Nathan is a great man who is always ready and willing to help Dane get through it all. I loved seeing their relationship blossom into the romance that it is. Not only is this book a hot read but it is also a book that makes you think. The characters are full of depth and deep emotions run through the entire book. This is a book highly centered on the men’s BDSM lifestyle but it is also a great book about finding true love.

Claire Thompson takes the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions in this book. I truly enjoyed the ride and cannot wait to read more from this author in the future.

This is one of those “can’t see the forest for the trees” type of stories.  Sometimes it is hardest to see what is right in front of our eyes.

Chris works as a tattooist and his favorite canvas is his long-time friend. He has gone from lover to lover for years, always talking to his best friend about his relationships, including his newest lover.

Lee is Chris’s canvas for all of his friend’s best work. He is also Chris’s sounding board for things he really doesn’t want to hear. What he wants is for Chris to finally realize that Lee has been in love with him for a long time, but he doubts it will ever happen.

I wasn’t sure when I started the story if I would like it, as the writing is a bit rough. The writer has improved a lot over the years from what I’ve read of his work.  But I stuck with the story and was very glad I did.  Rough edges or not, and actual sex or not, this was a heartwarming story worth reading.

Living in a small town Rosie is positive that she must hide her sexual preferences and never embrace them. When Decker comes to town to fix her roof she is tested beyond her limits. She is more than just drawn to him and when he reveals his preferences to her she is a goner but she fights it all the way. Rosie must not give in to her needs. All she can think of his what others will think. Yet Decker will not give up on Rosie and the sparks they share.
Cracklin Rosie is a great story about love; not only loving another but yourself as well. Rosie is a strong woman who is fighting and denying what she wants deep down inside. I really liked seeing Rosie find herself and learn to embrace and enjoy herself with the help of Decker. He is a wonderful man who loves with all his heart and is more than willing to fight for what he wants. The two make a great couple, always ready and willing to enjoy each other.
This book is the second story in a great series full of wonderful characters with strong emotions. I loved Rosie, she endears herself to the reader as she finds the courage to love and embrace her real self.  This is not only a hot read but also a great romance. I cannot wait to see what will happen next in this small town.

Handsome, young Kellan works too hard and doesn’t spend enough time meeting new men. Deep down, he’s an old-fashioned guy who believes in romance and true love. He’s tired of sex for the sake of sex and wonders about whether or not he’ll ever meet the man of his dreams and fall in love. Though he’s willing to put his heart on the line to start a new relationship, the men he’s been seeing aren’t interested. Until he finally comes in contact with a nice young guy he never expected to meet. They exchange a few e-mails, set up a date to meet in Central Park, and wind up spending a wonderful Sunday morning together that ends at The Plaza Hotel where they dine on strawberries and cream. After that, they discover a connection neither one of them could have predicted. And though they are extremely attracted to each other, Kellan is adamant about getting to know the man he’s falling in love with first before they jump into bed together.

I loved this story. Flat out adored it. The emotions were so pure and the writing was some of the best I've seen, which is refreshing and gave me the opportunity to enjoy the story without my internal editor flashing. Telling a story in first person POV can be tricky, since the reader may not get a sound idea of what the character telling the story is like, except through his eyes. However, the author did a superb job of giving the reader a very good visual of who Kellan is. And the descriptions of the other hero, Jason, were so detailed, with layers that proved how great a writer Ryan Field is.

The story itself was a wonderful, if very short, journey of discovery. Kellan wants more than sex...he wants a deeper and more meaningful connection. The fact that he finds it right under (or above, as the case may be) his nose, is so perfect. Truth is stranger than fiction and even though this story is fiction, I was able to suspend disbelief without any problem whatsoever because I truly wanted these two men to find and fall for each other.  Kudos to the author and I'll definitely be looking for more from him. This earned every diamond!

A Honeybun In Hell (Honeybun Hunks series 4) by Sam Cheever

Edric Honeybun is in Hell, Indiana on Halloween, doing research for his latest book in a haunted hotel. His brothers and their honeys decide to join him and make an adventure out of it. During this holiday in Hell, Edric fully expects to do some research, enjoy a few laughs over non-existent "ghosts", and debunk local superstitions about the Le Diablo hotel. What he doesn't expect is to bump up against a flesh and blood killer, fall in love with a beautiful witch, and come face to plasma with a surprise in the local cemetery.

Bella Rawnie is a gypsy whose family has nurtured a special "gift" for centuries. Her ability to speak to spirits makes her a laughing stock in the cozy town of Hell. Bella protects her family's legacy, despite the fact that tragedy has been a constant companion for the Rawnies as long as Bella can remember. But this Halloween, someone with a grudge is trying to kill Bella to end the Rawnie blood lines for good.

Maybe this time, the love of a good man...and his family...will be what the beautiful Wiccan needs to stay alive, ending the Rawnie curse once and for all.

These Honeybun stories just keep getting hotter! I loved the paranormal aspect to this story and how in stride the Honeybun hunks handled these elements. With every new book in this series I love them more and more. Sam Cheever has once again outdid herself with this one. Edric is a phenomenal hero and his calm analytical personality shines in this situation. He is the perfect counterpart for the unconventional Bella. Our latest honey is a treat, with her special gifts and true heart she is a wonderful addition to the clan. They experience an instant attraction and I enjoyed watching them deal with the growing affection they were developing amidst a dangerously deadly situation. The story itself has a little bit of everything; mystery and intrigue, action and adventure, sexual chemistry and sweet romance, not to mention a kick-butt spooky location. The Honeybun men have a reserved spot in my heart. This is a fast and fun read complete with a Halloween mystery and a bunch of sexy red-headed men who won't let ghosts get the better of them. These Honeybun brothers are more than eye candy and I for one cannot get enough of them. Once again Sam Cheever's witty tone and quirky characters give reader's a quick and lively caper. This is one that I will read and enjoy over and over again.
