Valkyrie Bellona is tired of heroes. As one who has seen too many of them taken before their time, Bellona needs time away from her home and the changing rules that have her going against what she believes is right. Gabe is a fallen angel with a past that haunts him. He genuinely wants to do good, but his instincts sometimes lend to him being more of a vigilante than an order-following angel. When their town is besieged with natural disasters and by Bellona’s Valkyrie sisters, Bellona and Gabe draw closer in their fight to keep people safe. But the things drawing them together are also the ones that keep ripping them apart.

I loved the different dynamics in this story. Gabe and Bellona were genuinely hot for each other, but were ‘human’ enough to screw things up as well. Bella was so strong and I loved the Valkyrie crew and I hope a few of them get stories along the way. Between the main characters and their support staff, the personalities alone make an interesting plot even better. Anyone looking for a paranormal story with a little humor, hot sex scenes and some pretty fantastic fight sequences will enjoy Fallen Angel.
