Vanessa Fitzwilliam is in dire straits. Her father's death a year ago left her with a crumbling manor and a handful of old retainers relying on her for support. When the Duke of Northbridge sweeps into her life with a surprise proposal, Vanessa is tempted—but the arrogant duke believes her to be something she's not.

Hardened by the ravages of war, Northbridge seeks a wife who will provide him with an heir but make no demands on his emotions. The scandalously experienced Vanessa, neither clinging nor innocent, seems the perfect choice. But Northbridge isn't prepared for her reluctance to accept him, or his own fierce reaction to her beauty.

To fulfill his desires, Northbridge is prepared to be ruthless, but can he bend Vanessa to his will? Or has the Duke met his match?

The Duke's Blackmailed Bride is a wonderfully spicy Regency romance. The traditional storyline is enhanced by the engaging characters and the setting. Vanessa is a feisty heroine but there is more to her than the gossiping ton knows and I loved watching Northbridge’s reactions as he discovers the woman beyond the scandal. There are hidden layers to the hero as well and I loved uncovering the emotions behind the taciturn lord. Wonderful descriptions transported me to a faraway time and place. This was a great break to the everyday and I cannot wait to read other offerings by this author.

The story started off with an intriguing erotic scene and kept building on the heat. Setting details were handled well, taking the reader to long ago London. Characters were complex and there was a lot of external and internal conflict for such a short story. All in all, this was very well written.

Hell hath no Fury because she's right here on Earth. Look out, world!

If there was one thing guaranteed to piss off Fury, it was a man who didn't know how to treat a woman. One that actually hurt them on purpose, well, they'd better hope she managed to rein in her inner Hellhound when she came calling.

Women had been disappearing for months now; the kind of women that no
one really cared about. Later, they'd turn up dead, and they didn't get that way easy. Then the killer made a mistake. The woman he'd been torturing escaped before he finished her off, and she called in the Hellhounds.

Now, the suspect is hiding behind a web of tech and Fury needs the help of a Tech Wizard to run him to ground. Axe finally gets the chance to prove that a werewolf-Hellhound cross is just what she needs for more than just work.

Hell Hath No Fury is a fast-paced adventure full of magic and mystery. Fury is a fantastic heroine, she is no shrinking violet and Axe is as happy for that fact as I am. I love that Fury is such a strong female character, she borders on the obnoxious but in a good way and really as a Hellhound I didn’t expect anything less. As her personality is revealed a little more throughout the story I couldn’t help but admire her strength both the physical and the inner. Axe is wonderful; a romantic half-bred who is a fabulous mixture of brains, brawn and benevolence. This was a swift escapade that had me cheering for the couple, I wanted them to catch the baddie and find their HEA.

Annabelle's sex life is in her own hands and toys but she's lost the weekly bet with her sister, who hands her a printout from Part Time Lovers selling sex without strings. Her penance is to find a man and have sex. Sam was burned badly by his last relationship, so when someone tells him about Part Time Lovers, he's immediately interested. Sex without strings. They both insist it's only sex, but their emails become more and more intimate. When they finally meet, more than sparks fly. What if it's love?

Kiss Lonely Goodbye is a sensual read full of surprising emotion. Belle and Sam are wonderful characters who both just really need to get relief for their sexual frustrations and they are fine with the solution they come up with. It is enjoyable to witness their actions and reactions when things do not play out the way they were planned. I love how much background information we got on Sam but would have liked to get a little more on Annabelle as I didn’t feel as much of a connection with her. This was an expressive short story that left me with a smile on my face and a feeling of contentment at its conclusion.

The story was a bit roughly written, but that didn’t keep me from getting emotionally tangled up with the characters. Jessie and David both touched my heart. The author clearly understands how traumatic the teen years and first loves can be. My biggest compliment is that she made me cry.
