This is a story showing that sometimes we run into things that just can’t be explained. It was an interesting look into a scary situation with wonderful use of dialect and a good feel for the setting.

The Naga of Lyon by Hilary C.T. Walker

While this was not necessarily a romance book, there was a hint of a husband/wife relationship.  The story was a good representation of a husband not taking the time or interest to really listen to what his wife said. All too often some husbands believe that they are the important person and that what they say and do is of importance. The wife is secondary and too often just humored. What I liked about this story and that situation was that she had an interesting adventure and no matter her husband doubting her, he couldn’t take that away from her. She got the last laugh.
