Sera has lived 300 years and never experienced an orgasm. Unfortunately she confides that fact to her friend, who insists on taking her to Captive Fantasy, a sex club.

Valentino, who works at Captive Fantasy, finds something very intriguing about the shy Sera and is determined to get closer to her. Neither Valentino nor Sera are quite what they appear to be. Can they overcome their differences and find a way to be together?

I really enjoyed this story. Valentino and Sera are really sweet together and make a wonderful couple. I was pleasantly surprised by this story because there were a lot of surprises concerning Valentino’s identity and made for a very unique story. Overall this was well written, had really good pacing and the story kept me interested from start to finish. The only thing I wish had been included was more background on the main characters, especially Sera, but the story still came across well without it.

Dante has never given his name to anyone in his coven, never trusted anyone enough. Yet when the woman to become his queen asks it of him, he must decide exactly how much he loves and trusts her.

This story was very short and sensually erotic. There wasn’t a lot of character development, but both main characters faced a significant conflict. My wish is that the story had been longer to let the reader better understand the characters and what had led to this moment. It felt a bit rushed.

Seraphina Scala thought her live-in lover, Valentino, had forgotten Valentine’s Day. She tried not to care because she loved him anyway. Then blood red roses were delivered to her and over the phone he told her “I love you, baby.” And she thought “those words just never get old.” But he had so much more planned for that night.

I loved these two characters and the depth of their feelings for one another. This short story wasn’t about conflicts keeping them apart, but about deepening the love between them. It was beautifully written and really hot, great fun. I would willingly be this hero’s captive any time.
