REVIEW

The intriguing world of Ardenia filled with tragedies in the past and facing many changes continues to be important in this second book in the series dealing with finding the three lost princesses.

Kitty came to the human world years ago in a child’s foolish moment of adventure. She has lived under the ruthless control of a powerful man since then, cast under a memory spell and knowing nothing of her past. Previous attempts at escape have never worked and she tries to accept her miserable life. And then a handsome gambler comes into her world, winning her freedom if she will go away with him. But is she leaving one man’s control for another’s?

Jack Avery wants a chance to gain favor with the Queen and be accepted in his homeland of Ardenia again. To do so he must find and return another of her missing daughters in the human world. Cast under a spell, she doesn’t know what happened to her, or that she is Princess Noelani. She goes with him, but reluctantly at first. Yet as they travel together, they face an overwhelming sexual need for one another. He finds his original goal changing, but…

The characters in the series get better and better. I pulled strongly from the beginning for these two lost and wounded souls as they struggled to deal with their past lives and find happiness with each other.
