I love this series, which began with Badland Warriors: Vikings. The warriors in these stories are hot, hot, hot! And this story especially touched me.
Two podmate warriors, Lysander and Calix, took in a third warrior, Thanos, when his own podmates were killed. Bonding between the three men is crucial but it has been difficult for Thanos. He holds his body and his complete trust back, fearing rejection when they learn the truth about him.
Artemis is a female warrior and more than capable of taking of herself and these hard warriors. She also knows she is their mate. The three men know it as well, but unless they can free Thanos of his past their complete bonding is at risk.
Wonderful characters, strong conflicts, emotional depth, and definitely some very hot sex.
