I’ve read a lot of books, fallen in love with a number of heroes, but none more than these three Warrior Vikings. This story has excellent characterization, plotting, and definitely lots of heat element.

Amy is an orphan in a destroyed world and is learning to survive in her government mandated job as a Soother to stressed out border soldiers. She is having trouble fitting in and making friends, even more so when she is picked by three of the biggest, baddest, most handsome Warriors to come to her Soothing Bar. She feels a thrill of excitement, certain something is about to change her life even more.

Swede, Dane and Nor are genetically engineered elite Viking Warriors. They aren’t supposed to have real feelings for anyone. They’re only supposed to police the Badlands and follow the government’s laws. But they make their own laws. And they do feel strongly about one particular woman, something which surprises them all. They must claim her for themselves and take her away with them, even if she resists. But their Amy is full of surprises, too.

My biggest complaint is that the story ended far too soon. I wanted more and more.
