On an off chance Sadie finds herself at the same museum that Max works at. Sadie has not seen Max since high school and takes this opportunity to apologize for the way she treated him back then. She has always had a soft spot for Max and seeing him again only intensifies those feelings for Sadie.

This story was a quick sweet read.  Both Sadie and Max have grown up since their high school days. Max may still be a nerd in ways but he has certainly filled out nicely and found himself some interesting habits. Sadie is now a woman who stands on her own and thinks for herself. The sparks fly between the two from their first meeting in the museum.

I enjoyed seeing Sadie face her fears and try something that she knows deep down she wants but was afraid because of a past experience. Max is a great man who is willing to let Sadie go at her own pace and he gives her the room she needs to decide what she wants. The bond that grows between the two is a nice read. I enjoyed seeing Sadie stand up to Dennis and her past. I would have of liked a bit more character development though. I found it a little hard connecting with Sadie and Max making it a dry read at times for me. Although this book was not a favorite for me I will look for more from this author that may be a better fit for me.
