Taylor Spencer is a bitter man still recovering from a vehicular accident who has made Dancing Star's Dianna Remington extremely miserable. However, they are both coerced into taking a trip together to Australia by Dianna's brother. Their plane crashes on route and they must each learn to work with each other to survive the harsh journey ahead of them as they struggle with wilderness survival in the Australian rainforest. Their survival will come down to one thing, their willingness to face their desires and battles with each other.
I have to mention something before I go further and that is that it is absolutely crucial to read the first two books in this series in order to follow the story in this book. Not only do we follow Taylor & Dianna's journey but we also are given a very detailed glimpse into the demise of Danger & Lacey's marriage, not to mention that we find out the identity of Lacey's mystery man. I really felt for Dianna, Taylor was just an awful person to be partnered up with, and despite all of his issues, the way that he would use personal bits of info to verbally attack her was just simply brutal. I battled tears as I read some of the passages because I could only imagine the pain that it caused Dianna. I understood that it was a defense mechanism for Taylor but there was a lot of anger and hate coming from him and I only had a well of sympathy for Dianna who was not in a very enviable situation. She was a very appealing character, headstrong, independent, and determined to survive. Taylor, as you got to know him some more in detail also showed more positive human qualities. Overall, both characters were very engaging and definitely drew you in to the plot of the story. Please take note that the sex in this book was off the scales, beautifully written and extremely steamy.
P.S. *Keep a box of Kleenex handy for this book, you'll need it.*
