The author had me interested from “I love dating a vampire. All night he’s with me and all day he’s dead. I know where to find him. It’s a win-win.”
Lance Cheron was the perfect lover, reading French poetry to her in his sexy voice in a sexy language, intimately pleasing her as many times as she wanted, and yet there was a sense of mystery about him.
I loved Ann Milton being a financial planner for the undead and enjoyed her attitude toward her work. “Life is fleeting, but an expertly managed portfolio can last several lifetimes. Living from paycheck to paycheck for eternity is a bitch.” Perfectly said.
While I enjoyed the romantic elements in the relationship between Lance and Ann, there was also a darker side to the story. Wandering through the storyline, you’re introduced to some intriguing characters that were well written. I won’t share any more tidbits of this wonderful story. You’ll have to read it for yourself.
