It is difficult, if not impossible, to fight fate. This was a nicely sensual story that ended far too quickly.

Cora is a fortuneteller, a free spirit who wants no permanent ties to anything or anyone. Then a handsome stranger appears and questions “her name, her hair color, and her vagabond existence.” She wants to run from him and the images of a future she sees.

Tamos is king of the gypsies and finds the woman he has been searching for, the woman destined to be his wife. But she resists everything about being tied to him. She cannot resist the heat between them, though, and he will have her for his wife one day.

The characters were intriguing, a bit mysterious. The conflicts were a bit confusing at first, but the storyline and characters held my interest. Overall a good read.
