On her quest for revenge of the death of her twin brother Jacqueline finds the love of her life, but it seems that no matter how hard she tries they may never find their happy ever after.  Once Terric finds Jacqueline he knows that he will never give her up. These two are a wonderful couple. I loved watching their relationship bloom.  Jacqueline is a strong woman determined to live her life the way she sees fit. I loved her feistiness and her honesty. Terric is a great man, even though he may just be a tournament knight with no land or great money of his own, he is worth more than all of the other knights combined.

As Terric and Jacqueline fight against all the odds their love only grows stronger. Yet it seems that every time they turn around there is something or someone else that they must fight against. Although they must fight they are not alone. I enjoyed many of the secondary characters in this story that helped the couple. Each one showing the courage and the love that they have.

A Tournament Knight is a wonderful read. Marisa Chenery does a grand job of bringing the past to life and immersing the reader into a world full of romance and chivalry.
