Neadra is a water sprite with a problem—she’s terrified of water. Considered an outcast by her own people, she moves away from them and finds a new home in Strange Hollow. Content to live her life in her mountain and spend her time working in the local library, Neadra makes no attempt to meet the people and creatures of her new hometown. Caelan is a water dragon who can’t shift. He also refuses to indulge his violent, medieval minded dragon soul. Finding Strange Hollow gave him a home and when he sees Neadra struggling with her fears of water and of being judged, he offers to help with both, hoping the affection he feels for the pretty sprite might grow to more.
Changing Tides is a wonderful story. I love fun paranormal series that bring unconventional characters together in cities as well as in relationships. Sandra Sookoo has an incredible start for her Strange Hollow Series with Neadra and Caelan. Paranormal romance lovers looking for a playful new series will love Changing Tides.
