The idea of running into someone you just know is going to change your life and your destiny can be an unnerving thing, especially if it happens first in a dream.

Ainslie Croft carries deep scars both on her body and within her for a tragedy in the past. Added to that, she has dreams far different from everyone else. They are realistic and can be painful physically and emotionally. People come to her in her dreams wanting her help, ghosts. She doesn’t know how to help them and just wants to be left alone. Then she gets caught in the middle of two men and a serious problem, which she wants no part of, but…

Ramsay Balfour has no time for getting involved with another woman, especially not one who has just witnessed something she shouldn’t have.  He works for a covert intelligence agency that is part of the Australian scientific community that investigates threats. But she may now be a threat to him and the agency. Yet he soon realizes that he loves her and knows the idea of it will freak her out.

I enjoyed the characters and the unique challenges they faced in life and love.
