Kimberly and her family have a not so secret secret. They’re witches. When Kimberly sees Rick, she feels the instant attraction all witches in their family feel when the find the one. When they run into each other at a bar, the feeling intensifies and Rick is just as drawn to the raven haired beauty. To know if he is truly the one though, Rick must pass the sex hex on Halloween night. Only if he passes the test will they know if they’re meant to be together forever.

I loved the title and cover, both drew me right in. I even enjoyed the premise of the story; unfortunately, the execution had some serious rough spots. I would have loved to know Rick better, but instead I think I learned more about his dumb friend. It’s the first of a series, so I know more details will emerge as time goes on, but not enough were divulged in this one. Ms. Greggs has enormous potential in the creativity department and it’s enough that I’d pick up the next in this series, with the hopes it is better…and that perhaps the pumpkin won’t be so abused.
